Youth Program

The Central Falls Prevention Coalition (CFPC) leverages their diverse expertise and community resources to broaden the impact of city-wide prevention activities. Progreso Latino serves as the Fiduciary Agent and Employer for the CFPC.

The CFPC’s composition follows the CADCA (Community Anti-drug Coalitions of America) guidance and definition of coalition as “a formal arrangement for cooperation and collaboration between groups or sectors of a community, in which each group retains its identity but all agree to work together toward a common goal of building a safe, healthy and drug-free community.”

This definition describes the core purpose of the following sectors who work together in prevention in Central Falls:

• Youth • Parents • Business Community • Media • Schools

• Youth-Serving Organizations • Law Enforcement Agencies

• Religious or Fraternal organizations • Civic and Volunteer

Groups • Healthcare Professionals • State, Local or Tribal
