Progreso Latino announces new partnership with Davies Career & Technical School!
Progreso Latino has partnered with the William M. Davies, Jr. Career & Technical High School’s Education & Childcare Program. Progreso Latino will support the program’s mission to cultivate a new generation of highly skilled educators by guiding young people on a path from high school through college and into their teaching career. Progreso Latino is hosting students as part of the program’s aim to prepare students for state certification as a Paraprofessional. Students are then required to take the ParaPro assessment and earn the RI Department of Education Certification. This provides them the opportunity to work as a Teacher's Assistant with the hopes that the student will continue on to post-secondary education to complete a Teacher Certification program.

The Progreso Excellence Academy preschool is the only bilingual preschool program in Rhode Island. Our teachers, aids, and instructors are all certified. Your child will benefit from a three-year preschool curriculum acquiring a wide spectrum of developmental skills necessary to successfully enter kindergarten and to become a successful lifetime learner preschool. Progreso Latino is more committed than ever to help build the educational foundation of our Rhode Island’s future.
La escuela preescolar Progreso Excellence Academy es el único programa preescolar bilingüe en Rhode Island. Nuestros maestros, auxiliares e instructores están certificados. School Age/ Edad Escolar
Before & After School Program/ Programa Antes y Despues de la Escuela
Progreso Latino provides transportation to students who need the service to go to their school, and also to pick them up from each individual school. During the After-School Program, youth mentors help students with their homework and/or provide them with additional work to help them advance on skills taught in school. We also offer them extracurricular learning activities such as STEM Project and Tennis classes during summer.
Progreso Latino proporciona transporte a los estudiantes que necesitan el servicio para ir a su escuela, y también para recogerlos de cada escuela individual. Durante el Programa de Después de la Escuela, los mentores juveniles ayudan a los estudiantes con su tarea y / o les proporcionan trabajo adicional para ayudarlos a avanzar en las habilidades que se enseñan en la escuela. Summer Camp Program/ Programa de Campamento de Verano
Every year, we offer a summer camp in order to provide children from the community with a healthy and wholesome educational experience in a pleasant environment; where they can play sports, produce art, and grow their cognitive skills. We serve breakfast, lunch and snacks daily. This past summer we offered tennis classes for kids between the ages 6 to 11. Kids and families were very happy to be exposed to this professional sport. Children also participated in a STEM program where children have the opportunity to be more intentional playing and exploring Math and Science.
